"The willingness to show up changes us. It makes us a little braver each time" -Brené Brown

Services

  • In individual therapy we will work together towards goals created collaboratively. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I will incorporate aspects of understanding how our family and environment has contributed to who we are. I will help you process both past and present experiences, and provide you with tailored skills designed to fit your needs.

I work primarily with adults and teens.

I enjoy working with issues surrounding boundaries, emotional identification and regulation, identification and expression of needs, attachment, interpersonal effectiveness, navigating transitions, and stress management, among many other areas.

  • In couples therapy, we will work together to create a more secure relationship. This will involve learning new ways of communicating, exploring emotions and needs, and implementing skills to create a new way of interacting.

I work with all types of couples, whether that be newly dating, long-term dating, engaged, married, and so forth.

I enjoy working with couples who are motivated to create changes in the way they relate to one another both in session and outside of session, pre-marital work to set-up a healthy relational landscape prior to marriage, and couples needing help navigating difficult life events/relational ruptures that have impacted their relationship.

  • In family therapy, I will work to help each member of the family feel heard and understood. We will look at how interactions and communication are creating problems. You will learn skills to create a new way of communicating and interacting.

I mainly work with teens and their parents/guardians.

I enjoy helping teens navigate social struggles, emotional identification and regulation, communication skills, and related struggles such as isolation, hopelessness, and anxiety. Parents play a major role, and would be learning skills to communicate with their teen more effectively, learning new ways provide necessary support, and practicing these skills in-session with their teen.

Together we can repair ruptures and create a new way of relating to one another.
